SCREAM IN TODAY TO SEE THIS BEAUTY!

May’s Bike of the Month is the 2010 FLSTF Fat Boy. This Harley has been customized with the perfect balance of black and chrome. The powerful and reliable 96-cubic-inch motor has been perked up with an incredible Stage 1 set up.

Nothing helps this Fat Boy stand out like its cross-drilled chrome wheels. Additional chrome can be found from the light rings to the bolt toppers, requiring you to wear sunglasses to look at it in the sun. To complement the chrome is the perfect amount of black accessories. The black tribal floor boards, passenger pegs, shifter peg, brake pedal, and grips help complete the theme that begins with the custom, hand-painted pin striping.

You won’t believe what happens when you wake up a 96-cubic-inch, V-Twin Harley motor with a Vance & Hines 2-1 Pro Pipe, high flow air cleaner, and the V&H Fuel Pac Tuner. You will accelerate quickly from the stop lights and pass with ease on the highway. The detachable windshield will allow comfort on those long trips, but is easy to remove for those rides around the lake. There is nothing like riding a Harley-Davidson Fat Boy!

Don’t miss the opportunity to see this bike in person. You will be amazed with the quality and attention to detail when you see the sun shining off this work of art! While you are here, take it for a spin, but let me warn you- you won’t want to go home without it!

Please call John Zboyovski at 706-504-2207 today with any questions or to schedule your demo ride.

Add more Boom!™ to your bike! The Boom!™ Audio Expansion Kit permits the addition of a third and fourth pair of speakers to your Boom!™ Audio-equipped Touring bike. Choose a combination of Audio Saddlebag Lid Speakers, Fairing Lower Speakers, and/or Rear Speaker Pods (sold separately) to build a sound system custom-designed to your audio demands.

This system also provides speaker-fade capabilities between fairing and non-fairing mounted speakers for highway riding, when it’s needed most. You can upgrade your system all at once, or one set of speaker options at a time. The kit includes a 100 watt/channel (200 watt total) saddlebag-mounted amplifier, amplifier cover, mounting bracket, and the required installation hardware and wiring harness.

Dealer installation is recommended, so call Dave in Parts today to ask about them!

Preventive maintenance allows you to avoid breakdowns and time wasted on the roadside waiting for help, so be sure to keep an eye on these things to enjoy this riding season:

1. Keep the throttle and clutch cables lubed and adjusted.
2. Check the spark plugs to make sure they are clean and properly gapped.
3. Low brake fluid can cause a spongy lever or spongy rear brake pedal. If air enters the system, it will need to be flushed.
4. Check fluid levels. Low motor oil, transmission oil, or primary fluid can cause noise and premature wear. If left unattended, you can burn up your motor, transmission, or clutch.
5. Tire air pressure is critical to safety and tire wear. We recommend nitrogen tire service, available at Augusta Harley-Davidson.
6. Keep your battery fully charged. A battery tender is a great help.
7. It’s a good idea to carry extra spark plugs, fuses, and a quart of oil with you.
8. Remember, if you don’t have the tools or the time to look at these things yourself, Augusta Harley-Davidson’s Service Department can help you with these items and any other service need you may have.

Harley-Davidson® LED Lamps are brighter and whiter in color and provide a superior light pattern over standard incandescent lamps. Compared to the yellow light of a traditional halogen bulb, the LED lamp produces a “Daylight Color Impression” that appears more natural to the user. Headlamps feature 2 horizontal “D” shaped lenses that focus light into a pool in front of the motorcycle, and separate high beam and low beam projector lenses that provide a focused beam of light in front. 4″ LED Auxiliary Lamps feature 3 “D” shaped lenses that focus the light, and provide a matching appearance to the LED headlamps. The solid-state LEDs are designed for long life, and the shock- and vibration-resistant lamp assembly mounts into existing light housings.

Installation is quick and easy, and the plug-in lamps connect to the factory headlamp wiring. No external ballast or complicated wire harness is required. The LED lamps are DOT approved for use in all 50 states.

Call Dave at our Parts counter today to ask about LED lamps, they are awesome!
