May’s Bike of the Month is the 2010 FLSTF Fat Boy. This Harley has been customized with the perfect balance of black and chrome. The powerful and reliable 96-cubic-inch motor has been perked up with an incredible Stage 1 set up.

Nothing helps this Fat Boy stand out like its cross-drilled chrome wheels. Additional chrome can be found from the light rings to the bolt toppers, requiring you to wear sunglasses to look at it in the sun. To complement the chrome is the perfect amount of black accessories. The black tribal floor boards, passenger pegs, shifter peg, brake pedal, and grips help complete the theme that begins with the custom, hand-painted pin striping.

Harley-Davidson’s Demo Truck is rolling into Augusta!
Come grab a hotdog or a hamburger on your lunch break or after work on Friday, May 4th! You can also test drive you dream bike! Seventeen of our most popular models will be here, and all you need is your motorcycle endorsement, a long-sleeve shirt, long pants, and close-toed shoes. We will provide helmets and reflective vests, or you can bring your own!

Fort Gordon’s Spring Fest 2012
Join BOSS (Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers) and Augusta Harley-Davidson at the BOSS Car, Truck, and Bike Show on Saturday, May 5th during Spring Fest 2012! The Harley-Davidson Demo Truck will be there with 17 of our most popular models to choose from. Take a demo ride around base on your dream bike, and even enter your own bike, car, or truck to see if you place! Also, check out the rest of Spring Fest 2012, which will be going on all weekend long (Thursday, May 3rd to Sunday, May 6th).

On Wednesday, May 9th, Augusta Harley-Davidson will be having a Ladies’ Garage Party from 6pm to 9pm! Enjoy finger foods, a glass of wine, shopping, and meeting other ladies. Operation Sandbox – Ride for the Troops
Join Augusta Harley-Davidson on Saturday, May 19th to support our military with a ride through Fort Gordon! Afterwards, return to the store for vendors, food, live music, and more. Registration begins at 8am, and kickstands up at 10:30am.

We’re ringing in Spring at Augusta Harley-Davidson with color, color, color! This is Moe, Kristy, and Kayla’s favorite line of the year, so make sure you come see all the new fashions for this season.

We have a lovely white Cottonwood leather jacket and Pristine leather chaps, with pink detail, just for the girls. The shirts are to die for with color and sparkle!

This system also provides speaker-fade capabilities between fairing and non-fairing mounted speakers for highway riding, when it’s needed most. You can upgrade your system all at once, or one set of speaker options at a time. The kit includes a 100 watt/channel (200 watt total) saddlebag-mounted amplifier, amplifier cover, mounting bracket, and the required installation hardware and wiring harness.

1. Keep the throttle and clutch cables lubed and adjusted.
2. Check the spark plugs to make sure they are clean and properly gapped.
3. Low brake fluid can cause a spongy lever or spongy rear brake pedal. If air enters the system, it will need to be flushed.
4. Check fluid levels. Low motor oil, transmission oil, or primary fluid can cause noise and premature wear. If left unattended, you can burn up your motor, transmission, or clutch.
5. Tire air pressure is critical to safety and tire wear. We recommend nitrogen tire service, available at Augusta Harley-Davidson.
6. Keep your battery fully charged. A battery tender is a great help.
7. It’s a good idea to carry extra spark plugs, fuses, and a quart of oil with you.
8. Remember, if you don’t have the tools or the time to look at these things yourself, Augusta Harley-Davidson’s Service Department can help you with these items and any other service need you may have.

The pink fire truck and pink police cars are stopping at Augusta Harley-Davidson® on Friday, March 30th to promote awareness for breast cancer with their nationwide “Cares Enough to Wear Pink” and “Pink Heals” movement. Come out and honor the people who have fought and are fighting this growing battle against breast cancer.

1st Annual Deputy JD Paugh Memorial Ride & Event
Augusta Harley-Davidson® is proud to sponsor this Memorial Benefit Ride and Event for our fallen Richmond County Sheriff Office, Deputy Sheriff James “JD” Paugh. All proceeds raised and donated will benefit local law enforcement in JD’s name. Come join us for a day of fun as we celebrate JD’s life. This is a family friendly event for all ages. Augusta Harley-Davidson® Customer Appreciation Ride
We would like to show our customers how much we appreciate you! Join us on Saturday, April 21st at Augusta Harley-Davidson® as we gather and ride to Pointe West Resort. After the ride, relax and have fun with us. There will be lots of food, drink, live music, games and campers available for rent if you would like to stay the night.
